Using Leadswitch

day to day

How to practice safely, send someone business, spot a lead arriving, and read what the chapter is doing.

One good turn.

Three things to know

The rest is detail.

1

Nothing here can break

Demo mode is a practice chapter full of invented people. Try anything — it touches nothing real.

2

Leads go person to person

You pick who gets it. There is no pool, no queue, no algorithm deciding for you.

3

The numbers are already kept

Attendance, who gave what to whom, who is owed a turn — all of it counted for you.

1Find Demo mode

Tap your picture in the top right corner. The menu has a switch called Demo mode.

Find Demo mode

This is the practice room

It’s the safest thing in the app. Nothing you do in Demo mode reaches a real person, and you can leave at any moment.

2You’re in the demo

Turn it on and an orange band appears across the top of every screen.

You’re in the demo

The band is your seatbelt

While it’s showing, every name, lead and meeting you can see is invented. “Back to my account” returns you to the real world instantly.

3Find the right person

Tap Members. You get the roster — everyone’s name, business, and what they do.

Find the right person

This is where you go when a customer says “do you know a good electrician?” Search by name, business or category.

4Share a lead

Every member’s card has a Share a lead button. That is the whole mechanism — you send it to a person, not into a system.

Share a lead

One button, one person

If you can’t find the button, you’re on the wrong screen: it lives on the Members tab, never on Leads.

5Fill in the form

Who is the customer, how do they reach them, and what do they need. Name and phone are required; everything else helps.

Fill in the form

The details box earns its keep

A sentence of context — what they want, when, and how you know them — is the difference between a lead that closes and one that goes cold.

6Send it

Two checkboxes are worth reading. One says the lead is actually from you. The other says the customer is expecting a call.

Send it

“Expecting a call” matters

Check it only if you have actually told the customer someone will ring. A warm introduction is worth several cold ones.

7What you’ve sent

The Leads tab has two lists. “I shared” is everything you have given out, and what became of it.

What you’ve sent

You can see whether it was opened, what the recipient marked it, and how long it has been sitting there. So can they.

8A lead arrives

When somebody sends you business, a small orange dot appears on the Leads tab — and on the Leadswitch icon on your home screen.

A lead arrives

Watch for the dot

So you don’t have to keep opening the app to check. Glance at your home screen: no dot, nothing waiting. The dot stays until you have opened what’s there.

9Open it

Tap the lead to open it out. The customer’s name, number, email and the story behind it are all here.

Open it

Then do the one thing that matters

Call them. Quickly. When you’re finished with it, tap “Mark as completed” — that’s what the person who sent it will be looking for. It can’t be undone, so leave it until you really are done.

10The reports

Tap Reports. Five of them, and the chapter picker at the top lets you look at any chapter, including this demo one.

The reports

Nobody types any of this in, and nothing is compiled overnight. Share a lead or mark an attendance and the reports show it immediately.

11Attendance

Who turned up, meeting by meeting — some chapters meet more than once a week. P for present, A for absent, V for vacation.

Attendance

Turning up is the whole game

Business goes to the people in the room. Each member’s running percentage sits at the end of their row — the plainest number in Leadswitch.

12Know you’ll miss one?

Tap your picture, then Record vacation, and give it the dates you’ll be away.

Know you’ll miss one?

Say so in advance

Those meetings show as V on the attendance report instead of counting against you. It takes ten seconds and it saves the captain chasing you.

13Leads shared

Who gave how much business, in which category, in which month.

Leads shared

Read it as a map of who is generous. An empty row is a conversation to have, not a punishment.

14Meeting roster

Who is speaking, and when. The next meeting is marked so nobody has to count forward.

Meeting roster

Members rotate alphabetically, so your turn is predictable. As people join and others leave, the running order adjusts itself immediately — nobody maintains this list.

15Planets

The chapter as a solar system. Each sphere is a member; the bigger it is, the more business they have passed.

Planets

The one people stare at

Lines show who sends work to whom. Where the lines are thin, there is business waiting to be found.

16Back to the real world

Tap “Back to my account” in the orange band. Everything returns to your own account, exactly as you left it.

Back to the real world

And it’s always there

Demo mode never goes away. Any time you want to try something before doing it for real, switch it on, have a play, switch it off.

That’s it

Five things, and you are a working member.
